
Gen. Pritchard House (1866-1867)330 Davis Street
This Gothic Revival house was built for Gen. Benjamin D. Pritchard, attorney and banker. Pritchard became famous as commander of the 4th Michigan Cavalry, which captured Confederate President Jefferson Davis in 1865. After the war, Pritchard was elected commissioner of the State Land Office and later served two terms as Michigan's state treasurer.
