Bush House

This Greek Revival house with hip-rib brackets was built for James B. Bush, local shipbuilder and sawmill operator. His shipyard was located where the Baker furniture factory was later built. The house was reputedly built by Bush's ship carpenters who used ship-rib brackets to indicate his occupation.
